Kel and Ami met at college in Austin, TX and have been married for more than 31 years. They both come from military families and have two adult sons, Kyle & Jett. Kel is a 3rd generation Airman that served 26 years in our United States Air Force, with Ami at his side from the very start. Together, they faced the challenges of numerous deployments that included Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, South America, homeland defense after 9/11, and a tour at the Pentagon (that felt like a deployment). They served with countless outstanding Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Special Operators in their many assignments and were humbled and honored to serve as a command team both deployed and in garrison. After 15 moves around the world, they retired from active duty and found their forever home in Monument, Colorado, where they enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, camping, and having great friends and family nearby. Ami is now an award-winning Interior Designer and small business owner, and Kel works for defense industry. They met Chad through his incredible wife, Lisa, and were drawn to his passion and vision to help other Veterans. They consider it an honor to support “50 for the Fallen”.
