What's Your Why?
At every 50 for the Fallen ruck, we invite participants to share their personal “WHY”—the reason they chose to walk with us. While sharing is completely optional, we’ve found that these stories often inspire, encourage, and connect others in powerful ways. Veterans, active duty service members, and civilians all bring unique perspectives and experiences, each one adding meaning to the mission. Whether it’s in memory of a fallen friend, in support of a loved one, or as a personal step toward healing, every story matters. These shared motivations remind us that no one walks alone, and that we all have a purpose in this journey. Click on the names below to hear their WHY and feel the strength behind each step.
