Grew up in Portland, Oregon. Played baseball at Lane Community College, before pursuing a career in Wildland Firefighting. Spent eight years as a Wildland Firefighter with the US Forestry Service and various National Interagency Fire crews across the West Coast. Joined the United States Army in 2010, currently serving as a physical therapists assistant(PTA) for 10th Special Forces Group.
